Not Better

It's weird. These two drawings seem pretty close to the initial sketches, but feel very different. Maybe it's the colours and shadows, or maybe it's the result of pushing, pulling and rotating things into "correct" proportion/position, but I find that the finished drawings lack the life that the sketches had.

Maybe I should post sketches again. I either finish a drawing or throw it into a folder on my hard drive marked "Never Gonna Finish", but I think most of my stuff looks better as sketches. Maybe not correct or symmetrical, but better.
